You’ve been planning on it for months, but it seems like your high school reunion or wedding you have to attend is almost here. 1. You can lose 10 pounds a week by cutting your carbohydrate intake to an absolute minimum. Instead of eating bread, pasta, rice or any carbohydrate rich food during your lunch, you can try eating fruits and raw vegetables instead. Have an apple or a few carrot sticks. Both have enough fiber to make you feel full without all the guilt.

2. Get your protein from reasonable amounts of lean meat or beans. Stay away from processed ones as these contain high amounts of salt that would make you retain a lot of water in your body.

3. You need to drink a lot of liquid. This can be good for two reasons, first it helps your body digest and detoxify; and second it will help you feel full between meals. You need to try to make this water as often as possible because it has zero calories and is healthy and natural.

4. Exercise more often than usual. If you normally exercise three days a week, try to make it seven. You will be exhausted, but this is the best way to burn fat fast and help you lose weight as quick as possible.

Here is another tip. Some studies have proven that a short routine works better than a longer one. So if you want to lose 10 pounds a week, you can break up your entire 40 – minute exercise routine to 4 segments of 10 minutes each or 2 sets with 20 minutes each.

This may seem like a piece of cake, but the test is really doing it; be patient and your sacrifice will be worth it.
